What is VOCs?

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are organic compounds including “GROUP 1 CARCINOGEN” like FORMALDEHYDE and BENZENE that easily vaporize into air and cause air pollution. They are from paints, curtains, adhesives, and building furniture. Such VOCs can be released continuously and can affect our health and increase the risk of cancer.
有機揮發性有機化合物（簡稱VOCs）是指容易於空氣中氣化的有機化合物，包括”一級致癌物”甲醛及苯，而它們都是造成空氣污染的元凶。VOC’s是從油漆，窗簾，膠水及大廈內的傢俱釋放，而且長違10年以上，長期接觸會影響身體健康，增加患癌機會。
